In star-studded central Paris, the second week of the Climate Change Conference, COP 21, kicked off with a bright new illumination of the Eiffel Tower from the energy of real people.
On Sunday, December 6, French artist Yann Toma and his team of mathematicians harnessed the energy of millions of people around the world by returning the Iron Lady "to its original purpose, which Toma says is to spread energy and messages." The more calories the millions of participants burned, the more people tweeted about #COP21 #HumanEnergy#ParisClimate2015, and the brighter the Eiffel Tower was lit.
