On the occasion of the twentieth anniversary of the Collège international de philosophie, the philosophers who have participated in it since 1983 were invited to become involved over a period of several months in an artistic work by Yann Toma. They have each chosen a decisive word of their thought that they comment on the screen. Procedure of recall, by a plastic process of networking, draws up a video inventory of each of the contributions. These philosophers from all continents become, at the same time, lifetime subscribers to the fictional enterprise.
This exhibition is part of the twentieth anniversary festivities, during the week of November 3-8, 2003. This celebration constitutes an event for philosophy; more than a commemoration, it is an opportunity to organize a vast debate on the work of thought, its styles, its crises and its passages.
